In this episode, Ed sits down with Ant Haynes to reflect on his 2022 CrossFit Games Season. It has been a rollercoaster of a year for Ant, which all began with a last minute decision to get on a flight and relocate to Dubai in order to continue his season. Little did he know that it would be more than half a year before he’d eventually return to his home in Hong Kong.
Unfortunately Ant narrowly missed out on qualification to the CrossFit Games via the Semi-finals in Korea, and in this episode we dig into the mental challenges he faced in the lead up to, during and post competition. Many of the challenges that Ant faced are also challenges that we all face in every day life, and we’re confident in saying that we could all relate to the challenges that he has dealt with over the last 6 months.
